Don’t let the fur intimidate you on these gems! Fur is rich in manganese and acts as a pipe cleaner for the digestive tract. Plus, the rabbit meat, skin, bone, and cartilage packs a nutritional punch. Made with a single ingredient, rabbit feet pet chews are free of any added flavors or preservatives. This chew is a special treat and makes a great addition to any diet.

The Nitty Gritty Details

+
Raw whole rabbit feet are gently air-dried for 48-120 hours at 125F. This process mimics sun-drying. The big benefit of air drying is that it naturally preserves the meat in its raw state and prevents any damage or change of the protein. And that means full nutrition is passed to your furry friend.

There are no added ingredients. It's 100% rabbit feet with the fur included. The air drying process removes all moisture, making the final product shelf stable (even without preservatives)!
+
Introduce slowly. Feed 1 whole rabbit foot per day as a snack.

If your dog has poor dental health (which is more common with senior dogs), they may have trouble. If this is the case, you can soften these chews by soaking in warm water before feeding.

*Fur is a great source of fiber but it can be difficult to digest if dogs are not used to it. It is normal to see fur in your dog’s poop.

Can my dog eat Rabbit Feet?
It’s rare that dogs cannot consume rabbit feet. However, if your dog is a gulper, they must learn how to properly chew bone-in foods to avoid swallowing too quickly and regurgitating this food. Senior dogs with poor dental health may have trouble with these as well, but you can soften these chews by soaking in warm water before feeding.

What nutritional benefits are there from feeding rabbit feet?

Air-dried treats and chews do not require refrigeration. Simply store in a cool, dry place between 30 and 60 days. In between chew sessions, you can store the chew on a paper plate and place it in your freezer. Do not wrap chews up and store as it will cause moisture buildup.
+
The rabbits were not grown on our farm. Real Dog purchases them from the farms they work with. Because of this, we don't have detailed information about the growing practices.
