Guess what? Canadian Bacon doesn't actually come from Canada!

In fact, it's only called Canadian bacon in the US.

But, that doesn't make it any less delicious!

Regular bacon is entirely cut from the fatty belly of the pig. Canadian bacon is cut from the loin and includes just a little bit of belly. This makes Canadian bacon much leaner and meatier than regular bacon.
