Common Questions

How do pickup days work?

Arrive at the pickup location during your scheduled time window. We have a self-service system. All you need to do is check all coolers and make sure you take all of your food. 

What should I bring on pickup day?

We encourage you to bring a copy of your order's confirmation email or have it accessible on your phone. We suggest that you bring bags to carry your items. You will not need a cooler unless you are traveling more than an hour.

How is my order packaged?

Your items will be packed in big coolers, with plenty of ice or ice packs to keep it fresh on the way to you. Milk containers will be loose. Fresh and frozen items are bagged separately. All meat items come individually packaged and frozen. 

How do I add to my current order?

Simply login anytime before your upcoming deadline and add to an existing order.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept all major credit/debit cards as our sole payment method. At the time of placing your first order you will be prompted to add a credit card to your account. Once finalized, your order's total will be charged to your card on file and your receipt will be emailed. 

Is there a delivery fee?

It depends. We offer free or reduced delivery. Rates vary from group to group, but it's generally pretty affordable.

Can a friend pick-up my order?

Yes, just be sure to fill them in on the pickup procedures and check your order when you receive it. Also, once you receive your order, please check it against your emailed receipt.

When are the order deadlines?

Order deadlines are 4-5 days prior to the delivery date.

Can I return glass bottles and jars?

Yes, you can. Put your clean glass in a bag and leave it in or next to a cooler when you pick up.

Order totals are estimated

Since many items are priced by the pound, your final total may be a little more or less than your order's initial estimated total. Once finalized, your total will be charged to your credit card on file and your receipt will be emailed.

Short stock items

Please understand that Miller's Biodiversity Farm is a small operation, not a large warehouse, that makes fresh products to order. If an item becomes unavailable your final total as well as any applicable delivery fees will be adjusted.

Sorry, no late orders or cancelations

This is simply farm policy. It's how we get you the freshest, highest quality products possible.

Notification of delayed pickup

If your group's pick up is running late, we will send you an email. We expect the same common courtesy from you. If you are running late, let us know. 

We are responsible for packing; You are responsible for picking up.

It is the farm's responsibility to pack your order. It is your responsibility to pick up your order within the window of time provided. If your products are missing, it's on us. If you do not pick up during the appropriate time, the farm cannot be responsible for missing or spoiled items.
